Alex Flanagan

She was a graduate of at the University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. She is employed by the NFL Network as an anchor/reporter and for NBC Sports as a sideline reporter for Notre Dame home football games and also for Football Night in America. Flanagan hosts a weekly update of the games Madden 10 and Madden 11 together with Fran. Alex originates from Sonoita in Arizona. Kevin Flanagan, a former basketball player at the University of Arizona is her husband. The couple have two daughters as well as a son. Alex's father is the owner of two Arizona steakhouses: The Steak Out (located at Sonoita) and Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her career at KVOA-TV as an undergraduate student and anchor of the news. In 1998 she started covering sports. Her experience includes NBC Sports NFL Network ESPN as well as Fox Sports. Additionally, she was an active member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Her first TV job was a reporter on weekends and general assignment reporter at KCCO-TV, Alexandria, Minnesota when she was a graduate.
