Bellamy Young
Young's career in acting began with theatre. She was Mary in the original line-up, Young gave her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in 1997 on Broadway in 1997. In addition, she has been seen off Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's music production Merrily we Roll Along (1994) along with Randy Newman's Faust (1995-1996). Her debut was on the TV screen in 1995 as Dr. Courtney Evans. In addition, she guest-starred on Law & Order in 1997 and 1998, in two different roles. She made her debut in 1999 with a role in Black and White, a crime drama. She later appeared on various independent movies. Her first guest appearances on television dramas and comedies as early as the 2000s. These included The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Between 2000 and the year 2011, Young was a part of more than thirty TV shows. Young was the main cast member of the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. After nine episodes, the show ended after a single season. She was a recurring character on the Lifetime show For the People, a crime drama. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs in the role of the character Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs as Monica West (CSI: Miami, 2005-06) and ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney). In 2011, she appeared as an appearance as Beth Clemmons on Criminal Minds.
