Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1959) is a famous American author and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, previously an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentaries on the National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio show, The Radio Factor. She's appeared in The O'Reilly Factor and Your World With Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File is a show with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs, as well as The Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. Her birthplace was in Yakima. She earned a bachelor's degree at Barnard College in 1983, she earned a master of Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985 and then an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She worked as a legal reporter on NPR's All Things Considered. She worked as the assistant chief investigator counsel to Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. The time she worked at University of Washington School of Law Seattle was from 1995 through 2001. She managed their Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl is an analyst for Fox News analyst since 2001.
